A teenage boy has been injured with a sharp object in Eslöv. The incident occurred at around 18:00 on Wednesday near the train station, and the boy – who is not seriously injured – has been taken to hospital by ambulance.
A perpetrator was seen fleeing the scene, and the police have used both a dog patrol and a helicopter in the search.
A 19-year-old man, who matches the description, has now been arrested by one of our patrols and is suspected of attempted murder, says the police's press spokesperson Filip Annas.
Parts of the area around and adjacent to the train station were cordoned off for technical investigation, and surveillance cameras in the area are being reviewed.
The police have held a brief initial interview with the injured boy. The suspected 19-year-old will also be questioned during the evening.
