The pharmaceutical company Astra Zeneca is laying off 70 people at the facility in Södertälje. Who is affected is not clear, but according to information to Länstidningen, it concerns salaried employees.
"More than half of the positions will be resolved through, for example, natural retirements and reassignments to other roles within the operation in Södertälje", writes the company's press secretary Kajsa Ekelund in an email to LT.
In May last year, Astra Zeneca laid off around 200 employees at the company's facility in Mölndal.
