The Swedish-British pharmaceutical giant Astra Zeneca plans to invest the equivalent of 6.3 billion kronor in a facility in Canada. The company expects that over 700 highly qualified jobs will be created at the facility, which is to be built in Toronto in the province of Ontario, writes Astra Zeneca in a press release.
The company hopes that the investment will lead to the development of 20 new medicines by 2030, and that the company's revenues will increase by 880 billion kronor.
