In a clip from 2021, JD Vance talks about "childless 'cat ladies'". Now he is being criticized by actress Jennifer Aniston.

The clip comes from an interview with the American TV channel Fox News and is from 2021, but has gained new spread after JD Vance was appointed as Donald Trump's vice presidential candidate.

There, he refers to several Democrats, including Kamala Harris, as "a bunch of childless failed 'cat ladies'" who want to make the rest of the country feel as bad as they do.

On Instagram, Jennifer Aniston is now directing harsh criticism at the statement.

"I can't understand that this comes from a potential American vice president", she writes and addresses Vance:

"I hope your daughter is so lucky that she gets to carry her own children one day. I hope she doesn't have to use IVF as an alternative, because you're trying to take that away from her too".

The actress has previously been open about her difficulties in getting pregnant and has undergone IVF treatments in an attempt to have children, but has not succeeded.
