The Norwegian airline Norse Atlantic Airways is establishing itself at Arlanda. The company is launching a direct line to Bangkok, Thailand, ahead of the winter season, according to a press release from Swedavia.
Arlanda has lost several long-haul routes in recent years as SAS has chosen to move them to Copenhagen Airport Kastrup or discontinue them. Norse Atlantic Airways was founded in March 2021 and is focused on long-haul flights.
