On Sunday, mild air moves in over the country, contributing to the yellow warnings for icy roads remaining in place until Monday morning. The precipitation turns into rain.

Then, this warmer air will continue to push in on Monday and can eventually reach almost the entire country, says meteorologist Magdalena Folestad at SMHI.

In Götaland, Svealand, and southernmost Norrland, the temperature can rise to around ten plus degrees.

And you have to say that's warm for this time of year, says Folestad.

The really mild weather will, however, be short-lived. In the southern part of the country, the temperature will still be above five degrees on Tuesday. You can expect rain until Thursday.

In the northernmost part of the country, a bit of snow will pass through on Tuesday, according to Folestad.

A high-pressure ridge grows in on Wednesday – at least over northern and central parts of the country. On Friday, it temporarily spreads over the entire country, and snow showers begin to move in over the northernmost mountain regions.
