In the massacre in Örebro last week, a total of 18 children and young people lost a parent, according to Sveriges Radio Ekot's survey.

About half of these children are in preschool and school age, the youngest being one year old and the oldest just under 30 years old, according to the survey.

The municipality is now preparing to receive the children when they return to school.

When they come back, it's a lot about dialogue, with other guardians, about how they want us to meet up, says Katarina Arkehag, director of administration, preschool and elementary school administration, to Ekot.
