This session brings visitors closer to Sanne Lovén Rolén’s work in the exhibition Embraced. In the installation Det var inte jag, det var mina armar, a large textile octopus spreads among everyday goods in a quirky grocery shop. Lovén Rolén discusses how she uses humour, materials and shifts in perspective to explore human behaviour.
The evening begins with an introduction to the exhibition, followed by a conversation with the artist. In the workshop, participants can print images on textile using the technique and equipment Lovén Rolén uses, then make a soft sculpture to take home. No previous experience is required, and refreshments are available nearby. The session is part of a series of artist conversations and practical workshops connected to the exhibition.
