Kinberg Batra is fired - trust is lacking
The Government lacks confidence in Anna Kinberg Batra as Governor of Stockholm. After sharp criticism from the Parliamentary Ombudsman, the former Moderate Party leader is now forced to leave her position.
Kinberg Batra's Crisis
County Governor Anna Kinberg Batra receives severe criticism from the Parliamentary Ombudsman (JO) for three disputed recruitments. Her actions testify to "nonchalance and a lack of respect" for the regulations in place to maintain trust in the public sector, according to the JO.
Kinberg Batra: I'm Not Resigning
Stockholm's Governor Anna Kinberg Batra predetermined who would be employed, and was also biased in one case. The Parliamentary Ombudsman is now directing harsh criticism towards the former Moderate Party leader after three disputed recruitments.
No Criticism of "Swishlist" Handling
There will be no criticism from the Parliamentary Ombudsman regarding the prosecutor's handling of the so-called "Swishlist" in Sundsvall last year. The Swishlist became a national news story in the summer of 2023 when the names and phone numbers of hundreds of Sundsvall residents who had transferred money to a drug dealer in the city via Swish were made public in the preliminary investigation of a major drug case.
