Meta Proposes Monthly Fee for Ad-Free Facebook and Instagram in Europe
European mobile users who do not allow Facebook or Instagram to use their account for targeted advertising may be forced to pay a monthly fee of 14 dollars (approximately 141 kronor), reports The Wall Street Journal. The newspaper refers to a proposal presented by Mark Zuckerberg's Meta to EU authorities.
