"The Wizard from Oz" Shoes Sold for Millions
The iconic red sequined shoes that Judy Garland wore in the film "The Wizard of Oz" have got a new owner – for 28 million dollars, equivalent to over 300 million Swedish kronor. The shoes were put up for auction by an auction firm in Dallas in November with an estimated value of just over 3 million dollars.

The world's perhaps most famous pair of shoes – the red glittering shoes worn by Judy Garland in the film "The Wizard of Oz" – are for sale. In 2005, the current pair was stolen from the Judy Garland Museum in Minnesota, but they were returned in 2018.
