Möregårdh advances in Frankfurt
Olympic Games silver medalist Truls Möregårdh has advanced to the second round (round of 16) in the WTT table tennis tournament in Frankfurt after defeating Dane Jonathan Groth 3–1 in sets. It became a bit closer than Möregårdh had wished, and he lost the third set to the 26th-ranked Dane.
Källberg wins – may face world number one
Table tennis star Anton Källberg has advanced to the world tour tournament in Frankfurt. Källberg, who was part of the Swedish team that took Olympic Games silver last summer, defeated Egyptian Omar Assar 3–0 in sets (11–9, 11–7, 11–3) in the first round of WTT Champions.
Sweden advances despite tired Truls: "Slept for an hour"
