A young man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a near-drowning incident in Lake Falkträsket outside Skellefteå, according to ambulance personnel for Norran.
Private individuals reportedly pulled the man out of the water and began cardiopulmonary resuscitation. When the rescue service arrived at the bathing site, they continued the life-saving efforts and the man was then taken to hospital.
The alarm about the accident came at around 19:30 on Saturday.
