An young man has been arrested on probable cause for the highly publicized double murder in Norrköping, reports Norrköpings Tidningar. He is also suspected of gross weapons offenses.
It was on Monday that two men were found dead in an apartment in Hageby. The double murder led to the police setting up a security zone in the district – the first ever in the country. The purpose is to increase safety in the area and make it more difficult for criminals to prepare and commit violent crimes, according to the police.
The arrested man, who is in his early twenties, will undergo a forensic psychiatric examination, also known as a paragraph 7 examination. According to the newspaper, he denies committing the crime.
