The police are investigating a rape in Umeå after a woman was assaulted by an unknown man on a pedestrian and bicycle path on Thursday.
The suspected crime scene has been cordoned off and the police are now continuing their search for a suspected perpetrator.
Initially, the incident was investigated as an attempted rape, but during the police's work, new information emerged that led to the charge being changed.
The woman did not suffer physical injuries in connection with the incident.
