A 25-year-old woman has been arrested in an apartment in Haninge, south of Stockholm, suspected of attempted murder of a man of the same age with whom she is in a relationship, according to the police.
Several people called in about loud noises from a stairwell, says police spokesperson Ola Österling.
According to Österling, a severely injured man was found in the stairwell.
He is very seriously injured. He was awake and able to speak when we arrived at the scene, but deteriorated noticeably and received care in an ambulance.
The police believe that a knife was used and technicians have been on site collecting evidence. The apartment is cordoned off.
