SVT used Kjell Mähler's facility in Kullaberg outside Junsele to broadcast the public success "The Great Elk Migration". They also rented cables and electrical cabinets – which led to a legal aftermath.
In a settlement, SVT has now agreed to pay owner Kjell Mähler 40,000 kronor, reports P4 Västerbotten.
When they come out to the countryside, everything should be free. I don't tolerate that, said Kjell Mähler to Tidningen Ångermanland when the dispute ended up in court at the end of September.
According to Mähler, it was the rental of the cable that SVT did not want to pay for.
They thought it was included. It's so stupid that it's not like anything, said Kjell Mähler.
The first five years, Kullberg's leisure and vacation facility was used as a control room for the broadcasts.
The year's edition of "The Great Elk Migration" was handled from Umeå, and it will be the same in the spring. No renewed collaboration with Kjell Mähler is planned.
I don't want them here, says Mähler.
