A decision was made at an extraordinary meeting on Monday.

In a press release, VGR writes that the collective actions of the health centers mean that there is no longer any confidence in the care provider.

Previously, the operational health and medical care committee in the Västra Götaland region has decided to reclaim over eight million kronor for, among other things, incorrect registrations of healthcare contacts and interpretation services.

From and including Wednesday, March 26, the health centers will no longer be allowed to operate within the Vårdval health center. According to Göteborgs-Posten, more than 11,000 patients will be affected and will now be redistributed to other health centers.

Recently, a major raid was carried out against representatives of several healthcare companies in the Gothenburg area. Two people who, according to the prosecutor, are believed to have run the companies are suspected of, among other things, serious tax offenses and serious money laundering.

According to the Economic Crime Authority, it involves systematic withdrawals over several years. Among other things, a property worth around 20 million kronor has been financed with money from one of the involved companies.
