The Ten Commandments from the Bible are to be put up on the wall in every classroom in the state of Louisiana in the American South. This has been decreed by the Republican majority and the governor.
This means that children, young people, and young adults from an early age and up to university level will be taught the Ten Commandments every day they are in a classroom.
The Commandments are listed in the Book of Moses. According to biblical tradition, Moses received the Commandments on Mount Sinai from Israel's god Jahve.
