A large unknown submarine is being closely followed by Denmark's defense as it moves out of the Baltic Sea via the Great Belt. This is reported by Danish TV2 Fyn.

The Danish defense leadership will not or cannot say anything about what kind of submarine it is, but explains to TV2 Fyn that it is not unusual for, for example, Russian military submarines to pass by in this way. It happened last around New Year's.

It is completely normal that we keep an eye on what passes by and follow them with the capacities we have, says the defense's spokesperson Tobias Roed.
