A skeleton from an unknown person that has long been a theater prop at Danderyd Upper Secondary School in Stockholm is to be laid to rest, reports Mitt i Stockholm. No one knows where the skeleton comes from or exactly how old it is.

It may have been here in Danderyd for over 50 years, says principal Fredrik Norlander to the newspaper.

About a year ago, it became known that the skeleton was not manufactured, but came from a real person, which caused great upset.

The skull is missing from the skeleton, and according to the principal, there is no possibility of finding out where it went. Now, in any case, the remains will be buried. After being cremated, the ashes will be scattered in a memorial grove.

It feels best that way, says Norlander to Mitt i.
