A 16-year-old and an 18-year-old have been detained, reasonably suspected of murdering an 18-year-old man in Salem on Monday, reports LT. This is the lower degree of suspicion.
My client denies the crime. He has nothing to do with this matter, says the 16-year-old's solicitor Anton Strand to the newspaper.
The 18-year-old also denies the crime.
It was on Thursday that the prosecutor announced that they had requested the detention of the two teenagers.
Another person is being held in custody in the same case. By Friday at the latest, the prosecutor will decide whether to request the detention of the third person.
The victim was shot dead in a woodland area in Salem, southwest of Stockholm. The police were alerted to the scene shortly after 11 pm.
According to information provided to P3 Krim, the fatal shooting is linked to a shooting in Salem in May. This information has not been confirmed by the police.
