The alarm about the fire came in at half past 8 on Saturday morning. It was an apartment on the ground floor of a two-story house that started burning.

In total, seven people have been taken to hospital, the police write. No one is said to have life-threatening injuries, but rather varying degrees of smoke damage.

The rescue service has gone in with smoke divers during the morning.

We have found a fire source and it should be almost extinguished, says officer in charge Johan Lindström at 9 am.

However, the smoke is still spreading in the building. The apartment where the fire started is empty, according to the rescue service.
