On Sunday, Trump dropped in on the kitchen of one of the fast-food chain's restaurants in Feasterville-Trevose, Pennsylvania, as a way to draw attention to the issue.

I've really wanted to do this my whole life, said Trump in connection with him stepping off his plane.

Trump has in recent weeks been fixated on the summer job that Harris claims to have had in college, where she worked at the cash register and made french fries at the fast-food chain while studying at Howard University in Washington. Trump claims that the Vice President never worked there, but without presenting any evidence that his claim is true.

It's like not a big deal, but can I be honest with you, it's terrible, said Trump during a campaign meeting in Detroit on Friday.

Trump has for a long time had a strategy of questioning his political opponents' work experience.
