On Friday morning, the trains between Gothenburg and Stockholm stood still for approximately an hour, following an incident on the western main line near Gnesta southwest of Stockholm. The reason for the stop turned out to be – a crow.

The train driver who drove the affected train felt that they were driving over something. Then we always have to make a stop, says Felicia Danielsson, press communicator at the Swedish Transport Administration, to Aftonbladet.

After a control, it was possible to rule out that it was a serious accident, and traffic could start flowing again at nine o'clock.

When we found out it was a crow, we were of course happy. It's positive that no human was injured, says Danielsson.
