Kiana Blanckert and Nils Boyer get the leading roles in "Aladdin – the musical" which will be performed this summer at Fredriksdalsteatern in Helsingborg.
Melodifestival artist Blanckert plays Princess Safa while musical artist Boyer takes on the role of the adventurous Aladdin.
Anna Norberg plays the evil sorceress Aunt Zallham whose somewhat dim-witted dromedary Jabaar is portrayed by Anna-Lill Karlberg. The genie in the bottle is played by Blacknuss member Prince Mpedzisi and musical veteran Amanda Lindgren has the role of Aunt Abdel.
The premiere will take place on May 2 in Stockholm at the organizer Dröse & Norberg's circus tent on Gärdet. From May 23 to June 1, the performance will move to Mölleplatsen in Malmö and from June 5 to 10, it will be performed at Heden in Gothenburg.
At the outdoor stage Fredriksdalsteatern, the performance period is July 18 to August 10. After a new period in the circus tent on Gärdet in September, there will be a final engagement at Göta Lejon in Stockholm from November 9.
