Since the Dutch participant Joost Klein was disqualified from this year's Eurovision final, Avrotros, the Netherlands' public service broadcaster, is considering withdrawing from future competitions, reports Omni, citing Dutch Telegraaf.
"Until we are convinced that structural changes have been made to put the artists and their messages back in focus again, we will keep it open whether we will participate in the Eurovision Song Contest or not," Avrotros writes in a statement.
Joost Klein was stopped by EBU from competing in the final after allegedly threatening a female TV photographer, a decision which the Dutch TV broadcaster has called "unduly strict".
The incident is still being investigated by the police, and on Wednesday, reports emerged that an independent expert will review this year's Eurovision final in Malmö.
