The steel company H2 Green Steel, which was launched in 2021 with the aim of producing almost fossil-free steel on a large scale in Boden, is changing its name to Stegra.
"As we now continue our journey, we are leaving our more descriptive project name behind and taking the name Stegra, which reflects our long-term ambitions," writes CEO Henrik Henriksson in a comment.
The company has secured financing of nearly 75 billion kronor and production is planned to start in 2026.
