The Real Estate Agency's survey "The Broker Panel" shows that buyers still have the upper hand on the housing market, not least in Stockholm and larger cities.
"The market is standing still a bit now after the summer. The supply is still record-large and we see no tendency towards normalization, rather the opposite," says Johan Engström, CEO of the Real Estate Agency, in a press release.
This can in turn be beneficial for those outside the housing market.
"If you look on the bright side, it can be a good time for first-time buyers to make good deals."
No major price increases on housing are to be expected on this side of the year, not least since the housing supply is still so large. And those who are considering entering the market are still a bit cautious.
"We thought that the interest rate cuts would make more people dare to act, but buyers are overall still hesitant," says Johan Engström.
The Broker Panel is sent out to approximately 1,100 real estate agents around Sweden and in the latest survey, 385 people responded.
