The Employment Service's website meets with the message: "Unfortunately, the website is not working at the moment. We are aware of the problem and are working to resolve it as soon as possible."

We have unfortunately had interruptions throughout the day in our data systems, which means that we have not been able to work with our job seekers, which is our priority activity, says the authority's press chief Hans G Larsson.

The problems affect all of the Employment Service's systems.

Job seekers have not been able to contact the authority, register or deregister, or report that they have applied for a job. They have not been able to hold planned meetings either, since the authority's planning system has not been accessible.

When the Employment Service's offices closed at 4:30 pm on Friday, the problems were still not resolved.

We naturally take this very seriously, says Hans G Larsson.

The work to restore the systems continues over the weekend with the goal of having everything working again when they open on Monday.
