The Christian Democrats are setting their sights on the 2026 election and are establishing seven working groups to develop new proposals in various areas.
It's not enough to just patch up and repair old systems – the party must dare to think anew, is the message.
Several of the areas are recognizable as classic, Christian Democratic core issues, such as healthcare, the elderly, and psychiatry. But the party is also defining the environment and climate, small business owners, security, and reduced child benefits as important areas for the future.
Development is already underway in what the party calls community building. These proposals will be presented in the spring.
