After nearly two months without district heating, the heat and hot water are returning to 67 apartments in the so-called "Chinese Wall" in Rosengård, Malmö.
Eon decided on Friday to resume district heating deliveries again.
It is primarily from a purely humanitarian perspective. It's getting colder and we see that the situation for the residents is difficult, says Mikael Bladh, head of billing and payment at Eon.
Eon shut off the district heating at the beginning of October because the housing association had not paid its bills for over a year.
Mikael Bladh says that Eon has received a smaller payment, but the housing association still owes a significant amount.
We continue to discuss with the association how it will pay for its deliveries. The claim we have remains, says Mikael Bladh.
