An 18-year-old man has been arrested as a suspect for attempted murder and serious offense against the law on fire hazardous and explosive goods.
He denies the crime, says his defense attorney Matilda Wetterlöf.
On Thursday, the national bomb squad neutralized two suspected dangerous objects in the Rosengård district of Malmö. The 18-year-old was arrested during the night to Friday.
In brief, it's a person from the public who says there's some kind of suspected object. When the police arrive, they point out the person who left the object, says prosecutor Adrien Combier-Hogg.
Erik Åberg, head of the local police area south in Malmö, has previously stated to TT that it's about hand grenades.
Finds from the sites make our assessment that it's about hand grenades in all cases. That assessment can be changed.
Combier-Hogg does not want to comment on the information but states that it's about explosive goods.
