With the help of tear gas, Danish police have dissolved a demonstration in Copenhagen, where, among others, climate activist Greta Thunberg participated.
The demonstrators, dressed in white, blocked the entrance to the Maersk shipping company's headquarters in protest against the company's transportation of military equipment to Israel, according to a press release. The demonstration began in the morning and was interrupted at lunchtime.
During the operation, 20 people were arrested on suspicion of trespassing. Two more were removed from the site and were later released, according to the Copenhagen police press service, which does not want to provide information about the names of those arrested.
