The two men who were detained on suspicion of arson in connection with the fire at a tent camp in Mölndal have been released, writes Mölndals-Posten.
It was early on Thursday morning that a fire broke out in a smaller tent camp in a forest area in Mölndal. Two people, a man and a woman who lived in one of the tents, were taken to hospital by helicopter. On Friday, Sahlgrenska Hospital announced that the woman had died from her injuries.
Later in the day, two men in their 40s, who were in another tent, were arrested on suspicion of arson. Now the two men have been released. However, they are not cleared from the investigation, according to the prosecutor.
We have had more interviews with more than these two over the weekend and there are additional people we want to interview, including the seriously injured man, says Anna Damberg, the prosecutor responsible for the preliminary investigation, to the newspaper.
