The alarm came in just before 10 am on Saturday. Another person was traveling in the car during the incident.
The police will initiate a preliminary investigation under the heading of causing danger to others, to investigate how the accident occurred. They have also seized the car.
In connection with the accident, traffic was affected. At 11:30 am, the police reported that the rescue service had cut down the tree and removed it from the road, and shortly after lunchtime the road was reopened to traffic.
