The police believe that the reports of a rape at Skåne University Hospital in Malmö at the end of November were fabricated. A woman has been suspected of making a false alarm, reports Sydsvenskan.
The woman told the police that she had been raped in a locker room at the hospital. The incident was investigated as a suspected aggravated rape.
A thorough investigation has been carried out and there is nothing to suggest that it happened, on the contrary, says Malmö police's press spokesperson Nils Norling to the newspaper.
