The police were alerted just before 10 am on Friday about a suspected dangerous object outdoors in central Trelleborg. The object was discovered in connection with a gate at a multi-family house. An hour later, the national bomb squad could blow the danger over, as it was deemed to be a harmless object.
A number of multi-family houses were cordoned off in the area while waiting for the object to be assessed. Residents were advised to stay indoors.
