A man in his 50s has been taken to hospital after a suspected attempted murder in Enköping municipality.
The man himself alerted the police just before midnight, stating that he had been assaulted with a sharp object.
He was treated on the spot by ambulance before they drove him away. He was awake and able to speak at first, but gradually got worse, says Joar Källman, police commander.
The man is being operated on at the hospital, his condition is unclear.
We have no one in custody.
The suspected crime scene has been cordoned off for a technical investigation.
