A storm with very strong winds is approaching the southern parts of Sweden on Sunday.

A low-pressure system is moving into the country on Sunday. It will be windy along all coastlines, but the windiest will be along the West Coast, Bohuslän, Dalsland, parts of Värmland, and along the shores of Lake Vänern, says Kristin Sahlström, meteorologist at SMHI.

A yellow warning is in effect for the area from 6 am.

Only Norrland will have a slightly calmer Sunday, says Kristin Sahlström.

Västtrafik announces that it is cancelling trains on the routes Uddevalla-Strömstad and Vänersborg-Herrljunga due to the storm.

All trains on Sunday will be cancelled. We hope to have the trains running again on Monday, but we have no definitive answer, says Oliver Ceder, disruption coordinator at Västtrafik, to Bohuslänningen.

Replacement buses will be put in place to replace the trains.
