Several people have been taken to hospital by ambulance after a collision between two cars on county road 243 south of Degerfors, writes Nerikes Allehanda.
Three ambulances have departed with the injured.
I have no information about the extent of the injuries, says Nathalie Stridsberg, team leader at SOS Alarm, responsible for the Bergslagen rescue region.
Both lanes were closed, but at 15:30, one lane was opened for alternating traffic. The rescue service has begun to wind down its work at the scene.
