A 35-year-old man was found shot in a residential area in Eskilstuna on Sunday. According to Mälarsjukhuset, the man was shot in the abdomen and is seriously injured.
The incident is being investigated as attempted murder and aggravated weapons offense. Currently, no one is in custody.
We have no concrete suspect at present. But we are of course trying to catch any perpetrators, says Olle Älveroth, police press spokesperson.
The police cordoned off the residential area for a technical investigation, but it was lifted in the evening.
