24-year-old Victoria Grace Larsson from Stockholm was praised by the jury for her interpretations of "Part of Your World" from the Disney movie "The Little Mermaid" and "Forever" by former Idol participant Hanna Ferm.
There's no doubt that you can do this, but this late in the competition, you can't play it "safe", said jury member Ash Pournouri, who thought that Grace Larsson could have dared to challenge herself more.
But jury member Anders Bagge disagreed:
Insanely good, he said, praising Grace Larsson's vocal control.
She was one of several Idol participants who had been ill recently. When she received the news that she wouldn't be able to continue, she replied:
It's no shock since I've been almost dying for two weeks and got antibiotics, said Grace Larsson and added:
I'm incredibly proud of myself.
18-year-old Minou Nilsson from Stockholm was close to being eliminated, after interpreting "The Climb" from the movie "Hannah Montana: The Movie" and "Lady Marmalade" by Christina Aguilera.
I love when you get to share your personality. I just want more Minou and more of that "sassy", said jury member Peg Parnevik.
Katia Mosally on the jury joined in the praise.
This was maybe among the best you've done.
Remaining in the competition are now Robin Sohlberg, Minou Nilsson, Joel Nordenberg, Leo Tekiel, and Margaux Flavet, who will thus proceed to the semifinals.
