Seven people have died in a plane crash in southern Chile on Friday, according to the country's civil aviation authority.
Contact was lost with the small plane, a Piper Navajo type, shortly after it took off from the city of Coyhaique. The pilot and all six passengers died in the crash.
It is still unclear what caused the accident, which will now be investigated by local authorities.
