Saudi Arabia has executed over 100 foreigners – so far this year, according to a compilation made by the news agency AFP.
Two Ethiopian citizens were executed on Thursday after being sentenced to death for smuggling hash.
A total of 189 people have been executed in Saudi Arabia this year. 101 of them are citizens of another country and 88 are Saudi citizens.
According to a previous compilation made by AFP, at least 338 people were executed in Saudi Arabia last year.
Amnesty International criticized the country earlier this year for an "alarming increase" in the use of the death penalty.
