According to the EU Commission's foreign affairs spokesman Anouar El Anouni, it is "significant steps" that have been taken by Israel.

–This agreement is a result of the dialogue that the EU's foreign minister has had with (Israel's) foreign minister (Gideon) Saar, says El Anouni at a press conference in Brussels.

According to a statement from the Commission, the measures include, among other things, "a significant increase in the number of daily trucks for food and other necessities into Gaza, the opening of several border crossings in both the northern and southern parts, the reopening of Jordanian and Egyptian aid routes, enabling the distribution of necessities through bakeries and public kitchens throughout the Gaza Strip, the resumption of fuel deliveries to humanitarian facilities, protection for aid workers, repair and facilitation of work on necessary infrastructure such as restoring power to the desalination plant".

We have reached an agreement with very concrete conditions: how many trucks will be let in, how many border crossings will be opened, says Kaja Kallas herself in an interview with the news agency Bloomberg on site in Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.
