France's president Emmanuel Macron urged on Thursday for a joint recognition – between France and the United Kingdom – of a Palestinian state.
The measure he sees as "the only hope for peace" in the conflict-ridden region.
The statement came at a press conference alongside the United Kingdom's Prime Minister Keir Starmer, who concludes the Frenchman's three-day state visit to London.
