The man is also convicted of offensive photography as he filmed some of the assaults.
The crimes were revealed in August last year after a woman with home care services reported that she had been raped in her home. During the police investigation, films were found on the man's mobile phone – not only of the reported rape, but also of additional rapes and assaults.
The man, who is in his 25s and has worked for a private company, is convicted of two aggravated rapes, three aggravated sexual assaults, and five cases of offensive photography, according to UNT. In total, there are four victims.
The Uppsala District Court considers the crimes to be aggravated as the man ruthlessly "exploited his position at the home care services" and because he exploited the victims' "vulnerable and exposed situation".
In addition to imprisonment, the man is sentenced to pay damages of between 171,000 and 315,000 kronor to the women.
