A person was trapped after a landslide near Stenkullafors power station, north of Åsele, which Västerbottens-Kuriren was the first to report on.
A person got stuck with their leg under a large stone and was stuck, says Lena Andersson, alarm operator at Rescue Region Mittnorrland to TT.
The alarm came in at 22:00 on Monday. By 23:00, the person had been freed and the rescue service had left the scene.
No one needed to be taken to hospital, says Ola Nilsson at SOS Alarm.
