A man in Umeå is sentenced to three months in prison for assault after pushing an beer bottle up against or into the buttocks of another man, reports Folkbladet.
According to the newspaper, the convicted man was previously married to the assaulted man's partner.
The crime took place during a pub evening last summer. A tumult arose after the convicted man, without provocation, approached the plaintiff and performed the act.
The man denies the crime. He has previously been convicted of, among other things, attempted aggravated assault and gross violation of a woman's integrity.
